About Connection Church Church

Non-denominational 100-250 people
As a church family of believers, it is our desire to touch the world with the love of God through all aspects, programs, and ministries here within the church. Together we can do more than we can apart! This is God’s church and we are His people. Our weekend gathering is designed to encourage you in faith through fellowship, worship, and teaching. Our service is a little longer than some, but we feel it is important to provide enough time during each segment, so that you can connect with others and God in a powerful way. During the first portion of the service there is a time of Family Connection where we connect as a family of believers. Following the Welcome and time of Giving, we enter into the second segment of our service, which is music Worship. This is a time for us to bring our praise in song, prayer, quiet, or contemplation. If God asks you to cry out – then cry out to Him. If He asks you to kneel at the altar in worship, then kneel. If He asks you to grab someone to pray with you at the front, then move. If He asks you to sit quietly and listen in worship, then sit. This time is for you to present your “Offering of Praise” in thankfulness to the King. The last portion of our service is our time of teaching and learning. Our desire is that you receive knowledge through the Word and in doing so, see God in a new way in your life. As you worship, your children will be cared for. They will be taught about who God is and participate in activities and crafts as they learn stories from God’s word. STATEMENT OF FAITH We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, born of a virgin, sinless, and crucified for our sins, resurrected from the dead, ascended to heaven and coming back again to establish His kingdom on earth. Genesis 3:15; Matthew 1:1-25, 2:1-23, 24:32-51; Luke 1:1-80, 2:1-52; Mark 10:45; John 1:1-18, 10:30, 14:3; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Corinthians 1:18, 15:3-8; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; 2 Peter 3:8-13; Jude 14; Revelation 22:12, 14. We believe that people become children of God when they repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Savior. John 1:12, 3:16; Acts 16:31; Romans 5:1-8; 2 Timothy 3:14-15.  We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells the life of the believer providing strength and wisdom for loving and living according to the will of God. John 14:17; Romans 8:9, 11; 1 Corinthians 12:1-4, 13; Ephesians 1:13, 4:30; Titus 3:5. We believe the church is the living Body of Christ on earth. He is its head and the source of its life. The body is composed of those who have received Him as Savior and Lord. Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 3:10, 12:1, 16:2; Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18; Revelation 1:12-20. We believe that a true believer is eternally secure, that he cannot lose his salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God and bring loving discipline from his Heavenly Father. John 5:24, 10:27-29; Romans 8:1, 11, 37-39; 1 Corinthians 1:8-9, 15:49; Philippians 1:6; Colossians 3:3-4; 2 Timothy 4:18; 1 Peter 1:5; 1 John 3:2, 5:12.
