The job of a Chaplain is often to conduct religious exercises and provide spiritual support for a private chapel, hospital or hospice care center, university, or branch of the armed forces. The Chaplain is responsible for developing and delivering spiritual and psychosocial care by providing pastoral care and counseling. The person who fills the Chaplaincy job often has a degree from an accredited seminary, is ordained, and has pastoral experience.
