Overview

Abundant Life Church is looking for its next Lead Pastor— one who can build upon the foundation already in place and expand the ministry to reach the unchurched more effectively. Abundant Life desires to reach the lost, make disciples, equip the body to do the work of the ministry, and raise up leaders to carry out the vision within the church. ALC is a racially and ethnically diverse church of 300 that desires to better reach and impact the surrounding community they’re already very involved with. We seek to bring reconciliation to social issues and are actively partnering with local groups to further that end.

The Lead Pastor will oversee and develop the following areas of ministry:

  • Development and implementation of the vision of the church
  • Development of ministry leaders and systems
  • Coaching of church staff
  • Oversight of the Sunday services, including the preaching of inspiring, educational, and discipleship-focused sermons Oversight and development of an outreach culture
  • Development of a discipling system Pastoral counseling of members
  • Support of the world mission of the church
