WHO ARE WE?
First Colleyville is a growing body of believers passionate about making disciples and planting churches all over the world! Located just minutes from the DFW airport, Colleyville is a destination place to live with the best schools and the safest neighborhoods in the state (recently named one of the safest cities in Texas). First Colleyville is a large church (4,000 members) with a passion for Jesus. Our worship is dynamic and engaging. Every week our pastor unpacks God’s Word in real and relevant ways. Our church is filled with new believers and seasoned followers who live life together in authentic Biblical community. As good as it is inside, we are committed to taking the gospel outside our church walls. We are fully engaged in caring for the poor, hurting and hungry in our city (recently awarded the best church partner by one community ministry). And we are actively planting churches in North Texas and New York and around the world in places like Canada, Spain, Zambia, Burkina Faso and Israel. We believe in dreaming big. Our new Next Gen Pastor would be expected to lead our next generation ministry age birth-5th grade to a new level by building teams, casting vision, crushing goals and impacting our community and world. Here are some things you would need to have to succeed in this role:
o At least a bachelor’s degree
o Experience in childhood education is preferred
o Experience in building and leading teams
o Skills in personal communication
o Skills in goal setting
o Ability to resolve conflicts
o Ability to lead toward excellence
