LifePointe Fellowship, is located in Pearland, TX – one of the fastest growing suburbs on the southeast side of Houston, the 4th largest city in America.

We are seeking a full-time Youth Pastor to be part of our ministry team.  LifePointe is an exciting and growing church that is all about helping people become LifeLong Followers of Jesus.

• Experience life through Sunday morning worship services.

• Live life by participating in weekly LifeGroups.

• Share life by finding a place to serve.

Who We Are Seeking:

A Youth Pastor whose primary responsibility will be to provide leadership over all LifePointe’s Youth Ministries.  To implement the vision and values of LifePointe within the areas of oversight in order to reach as many teens as possible with the Gospel and grow them into lifelong followers of Christ.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position would include, but is not limited to:

Promote LifePointe’s Vision and Mission and find further ways to extend our ministry reach.
Provide vision, leadership, and give over site to the youth ministries and possible eventually the young adult ministries of LifePointe Fellowship.
Overall care of the youth group; Discipleship of youth, Connecting with youth in their school and community, Proactive in maintaining relationships with youth and their parents, Constant communicator and planner for events and youth activities well in advance.
Recruiting, developing, equipping, and advancing volunteer and part time leaders to minister at their full potential.
Overseeing budgets, policies, procedures, etc.
Leading and overseeing all youth activities from camp, outings, missions trips, etc.
Working with other staff team members to advance the vision of LifePointe.
Participate in weekly staff meetings.
Assist in hospital visitations.
Preaching on Sunday Mornings as needed.

Qualifications for Consideration:

Has a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Loves to live life in community with other staff and church members.
Has a high level of excellence along with a clear calling to ministry.
Is self-motivated and a teachable servant’s heart.
Has strong organizational skills.
Has a strong passion for reaching the lost, as well as, developing lifelong followers of Jesus.
Has a proven ability to share vision, recruit, develop, equip, and release people into ministry.
Is an engaging speaker who motivates others to follow Christ.
Has the ability to execute multiple projects in a timely manner.
Has the ability to take projects from inception to completion.
Is a lifelong learner.
Creative and innovative thinker.

An undergraduate degree in biblical studies is preferred.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of full-time, vocational youth ministry experience is preferred.
Abilities to lead worship on occasion is a plus.
A heart for assisting with Young Adults ministry in the future is a plus.
