The Marketing & Engagement Team Leader's purpose is to develop, implement, and track marketing strategies across all channels. The Marketing & Engagement Manager takes ownership over marketing and manages a diverse team to accomplish CLC’s future goals



The Marketing & Engagement Team Leader is directly accountable for following all official and functional procedures and policies of Christian Life Center and is expected to engage in cooperative actions and relationships with the staff and congregation. On occasion, you may not agree with the philosophy or procedure used, but the loyalty and support of the Lead Pastor and the rest of the staff are essential.


  • Lead the Marketing & Engagement Team to serve the ministries of CLC. 
  • Define CLC's target audience for CLC's online ministry and identify new target audience opportunities on an on-going basis.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee a Marketing and Communication branding strategy to see measurable growth for CLC in online target audiences, adjusting as needed due to consumer trends.
  • Define, implement, and manage CLC's social media presence
  • Collaborate with each ministry at CLC to effectively market and engage target demographics.
  • Coach each ministry with tools and training to have effective digital ministry practices that deepen engagement with target audiences.
  • Monitor each ministry's effectiveness weekly in digital ministry practices and continually drive growth and excellence in the online engagement.
  • Identify existing content with the high-shareability potential to repost in bite-sized segments that will drive growth and deeper engagement. 
  • Track key metrics such as likes, shares, subscriptions, friend requests, etc.
  • Create and manage online events that will drive audience growth (webinars, conferences, etc.)
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends, and competitors' activities, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.
  • Measure and track the marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Utilize data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organization's databases and external data
  • Set and manage the CLC marketing budget.
  • Recruit and train volunteers to help engage our church and community
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the Business Administrator.



  • 5-7 years minimum experience in Marketing
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Salary & Benefits

$46,630 - $62,648
