Job Description
Here at Broomfield Assembly we are looking to make a staff addition, and it’s a little bit different. We feel that the Lord is leading us to bring on a staff individual or couple that can lead our worship and youth departments. At this time, neither of these yet represent a full time workload. With that in mind, we could offer either role as a part time position, OR (this would be our preference) create a full-time position that includes both. So considering this is a little different please feel free to reach out to us and ask any questions that you may have concerning this position or what we feel the Lord is directing us to do.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a someone passionate about seeing middle, and high school students discover Jesus and grow in Him. This position aims to develop, from the ground up, a ministry where middle school and high school students are engaged both outside and inside the walls of the church. Also, we are looking for this individual/couple to lead (with guitar or piano) our entire church family into the God’s presence in authentic worship.
Broomfield Assembly is family of believers located in beautiful Broomfield Colorado just northwest of Denver and southeast of Boulder.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a balanced ministry through developing a variety of environments for students to discover Jesus, grow in Him, and serve Him
Develop and implement strategies, budgets, and goals for growing the ministry
Expand the student/worship ministry through recruiting and equipping new leaders
Create and maintain open lines of communication and personal involvement in the lives of students, their parents/guardians, and our church family
Provide event coordination for both high school and middle school students
Lead worship during Sunday morning services and for special events as needed.
Plan and organize weekly worship services—including scheduling, song selection
Build and develop worship and production teams—including vocalists, musicians, computer operators, sound board operators and recruiting new team members.
Ability to lead worship while playing guitar and/or piano.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A builder-type who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and put in the work to establish a strong student/worship ministry
A servant-leader who loves students, parents, and the entire church family
Someone who is teachable and understands that they can be taught by unlikely people and unlikely situations
Someone who is passionate about going outside the church walls to reach people where they are
Has energy and enthusiasm, particularly around students, yet is able to exude a calming influence when needed.
Someone that likes collaboration and working with a team.
A mature, a growing disciple with a consistent devotional life
A capable and influencing team leader with strong interpersonal skills
Someone familiar with current trends related to teens, parents, families and worship
Someone that understands effective approaches to student and worship ministry
A self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong communication skills
Someone with strong organizational and follow through skills
