About Delphi Christian Church Church
Delphi Christian Church is a small (30-40 attendees), independent Christian Church governed by a Board of Elders, Deacons, and Trustees. We are interviewing for a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) Associate Pastor who will also have the opportunity to work a second job if he so wishes. Our local school system provides opportunities to substitute teaching, tutoring, driving a bus, etc. which would also allow our candidate opportunities to be involved within the community.
Expectations/responsibilities include:
Establish youth programs
Assist Sr. Pastor with special services and periodic Sunday services
Participate in community functions on behalf of the church
Coordinate special services with the staff or board and program chairmen
Be an ambassador to the Delphi IN community on behalf of eh church (visit shut-ins and other community-based prayer functions
It is anticipated that this person will become the Sr. Pastor when the current pastor retires.
It is our desire that as attendance increases this position would become a full-time position
