Youth Pastor/Worship Leader

The primary responsibilities of the Youth Pastor/Worship Leader will be to lead youth to encounter God as one led by the Spirit of God in which Christ is honored and glorified and to lead worship for the Sunday morning service. This position will include youth development, planning youth activities, mission trips, discipleship, fine arts, and various things that will grow them personally and corporately and to prepare for and lead the worship team for our Sunday morning worship services. This person is directly accountable to the Senior Pastor. The candidate should possess an adaptable skill set and leadership capabilities and a constant desire to grow personally, corporately and spiritually on a daily basis.

• Partner with and support parents
• Mentor Youth
• Connect at their schools thru the Fellowship of Christian Athletes or any other clubs
• Fun and game outings
• Community service projects
• Fine arts competition
• Conferences or Camp
• Oversee the organizing of all youth events
• Proficiency in leading worship with a strong vocal ability
• Capability of leading with a guitar and or keyboard
• The ability to work with and influence others
• The ability to preach, teach and carry a heart for discipleship
• To have an active personal/spiritual growth plan in their life
• Serve in other areas of giftings
