The Facilities Manager for a church maintains the buildings and grounds while directing staff and overseeing equipment and supplies. The Facilities Manager ensures that the buildings and grounds are well maintained. The person managing a church facility must be able to manage facility maintenance and cleaning schedules, monitor and arrange for necessary facility repairs, oversee facility renovation projects, and ensure safety and code standards are upheld. The person who fills the job of Facilities Manager must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage a facility.
