The Outreach Pastor is responsible to champion the value of evangelism in the congregation. The Outreach Pastor develops programs and ministries to challenge the congregation to grow in the ministry of outreach in their spiritual lives. The Pastor of Outreach develops relationships with outside agencies or programs to provide outreach opportunities for the congregation. The Outreach Pastor is responsible for recruiting, training, equipping and development of leaders and volunteers working in the outreach ministry. The person who fills the job of the Outreach Pastor must be a team-oriented self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple leaders and provide leadership in outreach ministry.
