About Grace Fellowship of Kent Church

Grace Brethren Under 100 people

Our ministry serves a blended community of people speaking English and/or Mandarin. Most church activities and small groups involve everyone while others focus on a particular language group. Worship services are broadcast live via YouTube.  The church is without debt and has operated with a balanced budget for more than ten years.

On Sunday mornings, we have a combined English-Chinese worship service. We sing in English and show the lyrics on-screen in both English and Chinese (many of our favorite hymns and choruses are traditional favorites for Chinese Christians, too). Our pastor preaches in English, which is simultaneously translated "live" into Mandarin for listening on a cell phone earbud. Our "all church" gatherings (including our lunches and dinners) are for the whole church community.

If we were to compress our beliefs into one statement it would best be said, "The Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible."  Our Statement of Faith encompasses the teachings of the Scriptures on vital issues that give anchor in a changing and seemingly unsure world. We rest in God's control of world situations and know that He calls us to freely decide to trust His Son and obey His Word for moral and daily decisions.

We are held together by our love for the Lord, our love for each other as brothers and sisters, and our desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. We know we will accomplish the most for Christ when we bond and work together.
