Lead Pastor- Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church

Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church is a welcoming, community-focused congregation in the village of Silver Creek, NY, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie. We're committed to sharing Christ's love with our neighbors, particularly those who are lost, hurting, and in need of hope. We are prayerfully seeking a pastor who is passionate about reaching out, discipling, and empowering the church by the love and power of the Holy Spirit.

About Silver Creek

Silver Creek is a village of about 2,000 residents, offering beautiful lake views, an energetic school system, and a village park that hosts community events and festivals. Located just a short drive from Buffalo and Niagara Falls, Silver Creek combines close-knit community charm with access to urban amenities, beaches, and Chautauqua County hiking trails. Like many rural, high-needs communities, we have seen neighbors suffer from poverty and addiction. We believe this is a powerful opportunity for our church to be the hands and feet of Christ, reaching out and ministering to those in need within our community.

Our Church and Facilities

Our congregation averages 50–60 people on Sundays, and we are on a journey of growth and revitalization. NextStep Church Services conducted a thorough assessment of our congregation's needs and provided an interim pastor to lead us through a year-long renewal process. With the guidance of a transition team and prayer team, we are working together to build a strong foundation for the future. We are learning to lock arms and work together to achieve Christ's mission through this journey.

Our facilities—including a gymnasium and two parsonages—offer significant potential for ministry and outreach initiatives as we seek to grow and serve our community. In addition to the interim pastor, we currently have an Assistant Pastor who leads worship and oversees student ministries.

We are praying for a pastor who:

• Desires to help us grow closer to Christ and be fruitful servants of Christ
