Nursery Team Members (x2) Job Description
Responsibilities
- Care for children newborn through 23 months in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
- Follow the nursery curriculum and activities prepared by the Children's Ministry Director.
- Comfort, play with, feed (as directed by parents), and care for young children.
- Safely manage multiple children while meeting their individual needs.
- Work alongside another nursery teacher on Sundays during Main Service.
- Work independently on Wednesday evenings (Position 2 Only).
- Perform light cleaning and organization of toys, equipment, and the nursery before and after each service.
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for every child.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- A genuine love for babies and young children.
- Patient, dependable, and able to care for multiple children at one time.
- Able to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents, Children's Ministry Director, and other ministry teachers and staff.
- Must successfully complete a background check before serving.
