Job Description
Nottingham Baptist Church is seeking the LORD to provide a senior pastor. The right candidate will demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, will direct by servant leadership, will meet scriptural requirements outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9, and will hold fast to a doctrinal position consistent with ours. Strong emphasis in our search will be placed on pastoral experience, pulpit ministry, handling the Word of God, and relational skills. As the pastor of a medium-sized congregation, a blend of shepherding and administrative skills will be imperative.
Qualifications
Required Characteristics:
- Biblically sound expository preaching
- Teaching, discipling, Biblical counseling
- Doctrinal position in agreement with our Articles of Faith
- Accessible for congregational needs, demonstrates care for people, visitation
- Bible college degree strongly preferred
- Pastoral experience is required, Senior Pastor preferred

Nottingham Baptist Church is a 115-year-old congregation of believers located in beautiful Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Our membership includes a variety of ages and family sizes. The activities and ministries at Nottingham represent a commitment to our purpose as a New Testament local church: glorifying God through worship, edification, and evangelism – all through the power and authority of the Word of God.
Worship Style: God’s Word and Biblical preaching is the focus of our services. We also have a strong music ministry: a small worship team and orchestra leads the congregation in a blend of traditional hymns and worship music, a choir sings regularly, and multiple gifted musicians provide live music ministry.

- Services: Adult Bible Classes/Sunday School (9:30 AM), Morning Worship (10:45 AM), Evening Service (5:00 PM), Tuesday Men’s Prayer Reveille (8:00 AM), Wednesday Prayer meeting/AWANA ministry (6:45 PM).
- Other Ministries: Ladies Missionary Fellowship, Senior Saints, Youth BLAST, Journey (Young Adult), Baptist Bible Institute of Cleveland (http://bbicleve.org/)
