Qualifications:

Loves Jesus, walks with Jesus, and wants to lead others do the same.
Has a sense of calling to ministry and desires to serve the church.
Has solid vocal skills and proficiency in playing keys and/or guitar with the ability to lead while playing.
Has experience in recruiting and developing worship team members as musicians and as followers of Jesus.
Learns quickly and utilizes new technology in creative ways (e.g., Planning Center, Pro Presenter, etc.)
Thinks creatively and deeply about designing worship services that are engaging, instructive, and varied in style.
Prioritizes relationships and people over performance and programs.
Is hard working, self-starting, and organized.
Is self-aware, eager to grow and learn as a follower of Jesus and a leader of people.
Works well with teams, including staff and volunteers.
Embraces and embodies the mission and values of Crossroads.

Key Roles:

Create a warm and inviting environment for worship that facilitates a grace-filled experience of God. Use innovation and creativity to engage people with God in new ways and in old ways made new.
Cast a vision for Christ-centered and God-glorifying worship within the congregation. Teach about worship regularly within the context of the worship experience.
Lead and develop people involved in music, drama, and technical aspects of the church. Recruit and train musicians, worship leaders, artists, and technicians to implement excellent and inspiring worship services.
Partner with lead pastor to ensure that all worship services are effective and on target regarding content, style, structure, timing, and design.
Oversee communication, scheduling, software, hardware, and all technical needs with the assistance of key volunteers.
Assist in the development and oversight of the worship ministries budget and the proper use of ministry funds.
Employ unique gifts to serve Crossroads beyond worship leadership as needed and available (to be determined with Executive Pastor).
