Worship Leader Job Description
● Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and Program Director to plan the music and media for the worship services
● Plan and lead Praise Team rehearsals and team optimization meetings (as needed)
● Lead the creative use and productive upkeep of sound and video equipment and technology
● Recruit, train, equip, and direct musicians, vocalists, technical / creative artists in the production of weekly worship services and periodic special events
● Minister to those in the worship ministry, as well as the entire congregation
● Support the “Arts” ministry as part of the A+ vision of CRCC
Qualifications
● have a degree in music or equivalent experience
● be competent in reading music, understanding instrumentation and voices, and appreciative of all music styles
● have media skills and technical experience appropriate for music production
● possess leadership skills and a strong work ethic, while maintaining a healthy balance with family responsibilities
● demonstrate the passion and gifts required to develop and improve the use of music for worship
● recruit and train others to lead worship
● possess a genuine heart for worship
