We are a next-generation church that desires to reach the community as well as the college campus (University of Missouri). We love the local church and we love college students and that is why The Salt Company is the college ministry of Anthem Church. That made it hard to answer some of the questions above. The position is for the college ministry specifically, but we are directly a ministry of Anthem Church. Anthem is currently at around 400 people and Salt company is at around 250 attending our weekly Thursday night gatherings. Our mission is rooted in Matthew 28 where Jesus commissioned his followers to go and make disciples, which meant helping others to know, love, and obey Jesus. At all times, and especially during our current crisis we want to obey Jesus’ command by following his model of discipleship. This means walking with people and not only sharing the gospel, but our very lives (1 Thess. 2:8). It's our prayer that we would walk together in love and that by doing this the world would know we are disciples of Christ (John 13:35).
