About the church:

Fearless Church is a brand new non-denominational church launching in Port Charlotte Florida. We have a heart to reach our city and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus! This is lived out through dynamic worship experiences, reaching the lost, and empowering a vibrant community of believers to live a fearless faith. Fearless church is currently in the Pre-Launch phase where we are training new leaders and team members for our Fall 2022 launch.

Job Description:

The role of the Worship Director is to serve the Lead Pastor in overseeing and coordinating the worship ministry at Fearless Church. The Worship Director takes on the responsibility of guarding the spiritual culture and character of the worship ministry. Additionally, they will commit to helping cultivate a life giving, passionate and skillful culture of worship at Fearless Church through the spiritual and musical leadership of it’s volunteers, The Fearless Dream Team, and other people or groups as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of worship leading in a local church or equal school experience.

• Must be able to develop a team of worship leaders and musicians

·     Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.

• Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online software.

• Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar.

• Ability to create, coordinate and lead a worship experience with a team.

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to empower and train vocalists/musicians

• Relative understanding of music theory

• Relative understanding of sound and production equipment

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Schedule and Lead worship for the services of Fearless Church. Plan and implement the music.

• Training and coordination of Fearless Worship and Production teams.

• Contact potential Team members and help them go through the process of becoming a member of the Worship Team.

• Pastoral care of the Fearless Worship Team.

• The ability to play an instrument.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise Dream Team Volunteers/staff related to worship and production
