The Youth Pastor works to foster the spiritual growth of and provide discipleship opportunities for students. As a visionary leader, the Youth Pastor will endeavor to grow youth ministries within the framework of the church's vision and values by providing oversight and direction to the youth staff, adult volunteers, and students. This includes leadership of weekly programs and periodic special events (camps, conferences, trips, service projects, and more.) The Youth Pastor usually works under the direction of the Senior Pastor or the Next Gen Pastor. The person who fills the job of Youth Pastor must be skilled at coordinating missions, activities, Bible Studies, and more for students.
