Children’s Director / Children’s Minister

Agape Church is seeking a passionate, visionary, and energetic Children’s

Director/Minister to lead and grow our children’s ministry (nursery through 5th grade). This leader will create a safe, engaging, and spiritually rich environment where children can experience God, build a biblical foundation, and feel excited about church. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a heart for children, a creative mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep commitment to aligning with the vision and culture of Agape Church.

Ministry Leadership & Vision

• Develop and implement a compelling vision and strategy for children’s ministry that aligns with Agape Church’s overall mission

• Create engaging, age-appropriate environments and experiences for all age groups (nursery–5th grade)

• Continuously evaluate and improve ministry effectiveness Program Development

• Plan and oversee weekly services, curriculum, and special events

• Ensure lessons are biblically sound, creative, and relevant

• Incorporate innovative and fun ways to engage children in learning about God Volunteer Leadership

• Recruit, train, schedule, and care for a strong team of volunteers

• Foster a positive, unified, and team-oriented culture

• Provide clear communication, direction, and encouragement to team members Safety & Organization

• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all children

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures

• Stay highly organized and detail-oriented in planning and execution

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with church staff to ensure alignment with overall church vision

• Communicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and leadership

• Be teachable and responsive to feedback, direction, and correction
