Position Overview

Wilson Chapel Christian Union Church is seeking a dedicated and Spirit-led pastor to serve as the spiritual leader of our congregation. We are a close-knit rural church community committed to growing in faith, serving others, and advancing the mission of Christ.

The ideal candidate will provide biblical leadership, shepherd our congregation, and help guide ministry efforts both within the church and in the surrounding community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and preach at weekly Sunday worship services
• Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation
• Conduct hospital and home visitations for those in need
• Officiate weddings and funerals (at pastor’s discretion)
• Offer pastoral counseling and guidance
• Support and participate in youth ministry activities
• Plan, develop, and lead outreach initiatives
• Attend monthly Leadership Team meetings
• Attend Christian Education Board meetings
• Attend Annual State Council meetings
